Sweet Dosa



HEALTHY and  INSTANT  SWEET  DOSA:

  INGREDIENTS:


  • Wheat flour        -2cups
  • Raw rice flour    -1cup
  • Jaggery              -1/2 cup
  • Cardamom
  •       powder        -1/2 tspn
  • Ghee                  -50 g
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup

Cardamon Powder
Ghee
Grated Coconut


PREPARING  SWEET  DOSA  BATTER  METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl with 200 ml of water, put the jaggery in it and boil it for few seconds.
  2. Strain the jaggery water by filter to remove dust and muds.
  3. Grind the grated coconut in a mixer grinder, and mix it with the batter.
  4. Take another bowl, put both flours, cardamom powder and filtered jaggery water.
  5. Mix it well,add little water to get batter in liquid consistancy.

         Now  the  batter  is  ready.


PREPARING  SWEET  DOSA  METHOD:
  1. Heat a dosa pan in stove, put a spn oil and spread it around the pan.
  2. Take a small cup of sweet batter and spread it gently round, do not give pressure.
  3. Pour 1spn of oil round the dosa. (keep the stove in low flame)
  4. Turn  the dosa to another side and let it fry for 1 minute. 

     
NOW  THE  EASY  HEALTHY  SWEET  DOSA  IS  READY







Traditional Ghee Pongal



TRADITIONAL GHEE PONGAL

INGREDIENTS:


  • Raw rice                  - 2cups
  • Moong dhall            -1/2 cup
  • Ghee                       -100 gms
  • Jeera                       -1tspn
  • Black pepper           -2spns
  • Ginger                     -1 spn(finely chopped)
  • Asafoetida powder  -1/2spn
  • Fried cashews          -15 no[or ur wish]
  • Curry leaf                -10 leaves
  • Turmeric powder     -1/4spn
  • Salt                         -2 spns (or as you need)


Rice
Moong Dhall
Ghee
Jeera
Black Pepper
Ginger
Asafoetida Powder
Fried Cashew
Curry Leaves
Turmeric Powder
Salt






PREPARING GHEE PONGAL METHOD:


  1. Wash the raw rice and moong dhall in a bowl till the water gets clean.
  2. Put the washed rice in a pressure cooker and pour 11 cups of water.[for 1 cup of rice it needs 5 cups of water, and extra 1 cup for moong dhall ]
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder with rice in the cooker.
  4. Close the lid, cook it till 6 visils come and switch off the stove, wait few minutes for gas to realease.
  5. Open the cooker, and mix it very well.[Note: The boiled rice must be very soft.]
  6. Keep a frying pan in the stove, put 3/4 of ghee .
  7. After ghee gets hot, add jeera, pepper, ginger, curry leaf  and asafoetida powder.
  8. Fry it only for a few seconds.
  9. Transfer all these fried items to the boiled rice's vessel. (pongal)
  10. Quickly mix the boiled rice and the fried items. [The fine flavour would be retained]

                             NOW THE GHEE PONGAL IS READY


SERVING METHOD:



  1. Take a cup, grease the remaining ghee in all the sides of cup and completely fill the cup with the prepared pongal.
  2. Now take the serving plate,  reverse the cup in the plate, and remove the cup.
  3. Decorate with fried cashews and finely chopped coriander leaves.


TRADITIONAL AND DELICIOUS GHEE PONGAL IS READY






Masala Dosa

INGREDIENTS  TO  PREPARE  DOSA  BATTER

1.Boiled rice            -4cups
2.Raw rice               -2cups
3.Urid dhall              -1cup
4.Salt                       -50 gms [or as you need]

INGREDIENTS  TO PREPARE MASALA



1.Potato                 -250 gms
2.Onion                  -200 gms
3.Green chilles        -2 nos.
4.Ginger                 -a small piece
5.Garam masala
              powder    -1tspn
6.Garlic                  -5 no
7.Jeera                   -1/2 spn
8.Curry leaf            -10 no
9.Oil                       -100 gms[or as you need]
10.Salt                    - a little amount
11.Turmeric            - 1/2 spn
          powder
Potatos
Onion
Green Chillies
Ginger
Garam Masala
Garlic
Jeera
Curry Leaves
Oil
Salt
Turmeric Powder

PREPARING DOSA BATTER  METHOD:


1.Take a bowl put the both rices together wash it with water for 5 times,pour water and keep it for 4 hours
2.Put the urid dhall in another bowl wash it 3 times,pour water and keep it for 1hour.
3.After the rice and dhall gets softer put it in a wet grinder and grind it as a very nice batter.
4.Transfer to a bowl ,add salt and mix it very well.
5.Keep the prepared batter for 6-7 hours with a closed lid.

PREPARING  MASALA  METHOD:
  1. Take a pressure pan put the potatoes and boil it till 3 visil comes,later take it out remove the skin and cut into pieces.
  2. Chop out the onion,green chillies, ginger,garlic into fine pieces.
  3. Heat a pan in stove, pour 4 spns of oil, put jeera, curryleaf, then add and fry the chopped items one by one till it gets golden colour.
  4. Now add  masala powder, boiled potatoes, and  salt.
  5. Mix it well and fry it for 2or3 minutes.


PREPARING  MASALA  DOSA  METHOD:
  1. Heat a dosa pan in stove,put a spn oil and spread around the pan.
  2. Put a cup of prepared dosa batter in oiled pan and spread it ROUNDLY .
  3. Pour 2 spoons of oil on all sides of dosa,keep the stove in medium flame to get roast.
  4. Take a big spoon of prepared masala and put it straightly on one side of dosa.
  5. Now roll the dosa [golden colour based]with masala little carefully.


     HERE  THE TONGUE  SLINKING  MASALA  DOSA   IS  READY











Multi Pulses Spicy Dosa


MULTI PULSES SPICY DOSA (Khara Dosa)

INGREDIENTS:



  • Boiled rice     -1 kg
  • Dhoor dhall   -250 gms
  • Bengal gram  -200 gms
  • Moong dhall    -50 gms
  • Red chilles     -10 no
  • Tamarind       - a little
  • Curry leaf      -15 no
  • Jeera             -25 gms
  • Black Pepper-25 gms
  • Salt               - 50 gms[or]as you need
  • Oil                -100 gms[or]as you need [gingelly oil is best]




Boiled Rice
Toor/Dhoor Dhall
Moong Dhall
Bengal Dhall
Red Chillies
Tamarind
Churry Leaves
Jeera
Black Pepper
Salt
Gingelly Oil



PREPARING SPICY DOSA BATTER METHOD:


1.Take a bowl put the boiled rice,wash the rice with water 5-6 times,pour water in it and keep it for 4 hours
2.In another bowl put all the pulses together and wash 4 times in water,pour water,and keep it for 1 hour
3.After rice and pulses get soft drain the water .[use pure water to grind]
4.Put all the items together[remaining oil] in a wet grinder and grind it little COURSELY.

Now the spicy dosa batter is ready to make dosas.

PREPARING DOSA METHOD:


1.Heat a dosa pan in stove,pour a spn of oil,spread it around the pan.
2.Put a small cup of spicy dosa batter in oiled pan and spread it roundly little thicker.
3.After 2 minutes turn it of to another side of dosa ,pour 1or2spns of oil, let it to fry 1minute.
4.Fried Dosa must be little thicker and little softer.

NOW THE SPICY DOSA IS READY WITH SUPERB FLAVOUR and
TRADITIONAL TASTE.
